2025 is a BIG year for the Orono Historical Society. After a number of years of quietly working to preserve the memories and artifacts of our town, we are set to become more active and bring exciting events and activities to the Orono, Maine community. We can't do that without your support.
We hope you'll become a member today and help us in our mission to honor, preserve and protect the great history of Orono.

Founded in 1972 to preserve the history of Orono, Maine, the Orono Historical Society is committed to preserving the history of the town and its people.

The Orono Historical Society meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm in the Birch Street School in Orono.
